Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Oakland, CA)

Silverline Quill Facilities Associates cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Oakland, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 182 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for customer sites in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
