Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Ridge Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Oakland region, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for change orders in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
