Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Cedar Facilities looks after properties across the New Orleans region. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 117 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for work orders in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
