Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (New Orleans, LA)

Amberfield Sparrow Freight is a New Orleans logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 187 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
