Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Minneapolis, MN)

Summit North Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Minneapolis, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for rent assistance in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
