Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Knoxville, TN)

Bright Field Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Knoxville and nearby communities. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for billing accounts in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
