Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Jacksonville, FL)

Amberfield Fern Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for customer tracking in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
