Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Jacksonville, FL)

Amberfield Fern Freight is a Jacksonville logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
