Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Jacksonville, FL)

Foxglove Ember Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Jacksonville and nearby communities. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for water quality in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
