Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Jackson, MS)

Amberfield Ember Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Jackson plant. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for production lines in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
