Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Indianapolis, IN)

Summit Glen Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Indianapolis, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for customer specifications in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
