Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Hartford, CT)

Northwind Drift Facilities Associates is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for cleaning schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 939 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for cleaning schedules in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with cleaning schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
