Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Lumen Beacon Housing Group and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for rent assistance in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with rent assistance. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
