Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Hartford, CT)

Highbridge Drift Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
