Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Timber Property Management looks after rental homes across the Hartford area, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for resident events in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with resident events. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
