Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Detroit, MI)

Highbridge Harbor Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Detroit with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for service complaints in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
