Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield Keystone Farms is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 851 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for cold storage in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
