Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Detroit, MI)

Cedar Wren Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
