Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Detroit, MI)

Summit Cedar Facilities Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for supply orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for supply orders in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
