Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Forge Environmental Services and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 55 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for landfill records in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
