Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield Basin Farms Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for harvest schedules in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
