Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Ashton Facilities Group looks after properties across the Detroit region. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for work orders in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
