Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Colorado Springs, CO)

Fernwood Bright Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Colorado Springs, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for lease compliance in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with lease compliance. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
