Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Chicago, IL)

Amberfield Bridge Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Chicago. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a large organisation of about 538 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for harvest schedules in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
