Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Westbrook River Press and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for paper stock in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
