Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Charleston, SC)

Greenridge Granite Manufacturing is a Charleston manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for machine downtime in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
