Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Charleston, SC)

Amberfield Ashton Environmental Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for weigh tickets in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
