Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Charleston, SC)

Greenridge Fern Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Charleston region. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for cold storage in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
