Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Buffalo, NY)

Ironwood Linden Foods Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 51 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for cold storage in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
