Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Vale Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Buffalo area, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for billing accounts in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
