Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Boston, MA)

Rivermark Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boston. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
