Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Beacon Press Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for customer orders in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
