Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Timber Property Management Group is a Birmingham property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for maintenance requests in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance requests. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
