Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Thistle Water Authority and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for capital projects in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
