Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Austin, TX)

Fernwood Bridge Foods Group is a Austin food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 83 people based in Austin. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for cold storage in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
