Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Mill Foods is a Anchorage food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for customer specifications in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
