Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Wichita, KS)

Amberfield Lakeside Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Wichita with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for collection routes in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
