Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Virginia Beach, VA)

Harborlight Junction Housing manages affordable housing communities across Virginia Beach, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for rent assistance in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
