Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Toledo, OH)

Harborlight River Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Toledo and nearby communities, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
