Maintenance Technician - on-call response (St. Louis, MO)

Fernwood Forge Energy is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for hardship programmes in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
