Maintenance Technician - on-call response (St. Louis, MO)

Ironwood Lakeside Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of St. Louis, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
