Maintenance Technician - on-call response (San Jose, CA)

Bluepeak Maple Property Management looks after rental homes across the San Jose area. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for rent collection in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with rent collection. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
