Maintenance Technician - on-call response (San Jose, CA)

Silverline Cobalt Press Group produces print and digital publications in San Jose, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for customer orders in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
