Maintenance Technician - on-call response (San Jose, CA)

Bright Summit Housing is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for resident services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 92 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for resident services in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with resident services. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
