Maintenance Technician - on-call response (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Stone Freight and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
