Maintenance Technician - on-call response (San Diego, CA)

Cedar Keystone Foods is a San Diego food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 73 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for allergen controls in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
