Maintenance Technician - on-call response (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Vale Water Authority Group and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
