Maintenance Technician - on-call response (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Juniper Energy is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for hardship programmes in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
