Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Rochester, NY)

Redstone Field Manufacturing makes precision components in Rochester. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a large organisation of about 745 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for tooling in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
