Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Rowan Foods is a Richmond food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for sanitation schedules in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
